Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Etten (arrived at approximately 7:00 p.m.), McGehee and Roe. Laliber- <br /> te was absent. City Manager Patrick Tiudgeon, Assistant City Manager Rebecca Olson, <br /> Communications Manager Garry Bowman, Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie <br /> Brokke, Parks Superintendent Jim Taylor, City Planner Thomas Paschke, Lt. Erica <br /> Scheider and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> Mayor Roe noted that Councilmember Laliberte is absent due to illness, and that Coun- <br /> cilmernber Etten has a work conflict but will be arriving in 15 to 30 minutes. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Consider Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association's Request for Permit Re- <br /> newal of the Water-Ski Slalom Course on Lake Owasso <br /> Police Lieutenant Scheider briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA <br /> and related attachments dated February 12, 2018. She noted this is the same sla- <br /> lom course that has been placed for the last 50 years. By State statute, any tempo- <br /> rary structure on the body of water needs approval by the Sheriff's department. In <br /> 1997, the Council decided public comment would be required before proceeding <br /> to the Sheriffs Department. <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment, with no one coming for- <br /> ward. <br />
