The Parks & Recreation System Master Plan components and its <br />identity becomes an approved part of the City's Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />Where can I find out more about it? <br />o <br />https: //www.cityofroseville.com/544/2 03O-Comprehensive-Plan <br />Parks and Recreation System Master Plan <br />What is it? <br />o <br />The Roseville City Comprehensive Plan and the Parks & <br />RecreationSystem Master Plan is more than mere guidance, and <br />consists of specific statements of intended directions for the <br />program. \[source: Parks & Recreation Master Plan, dated 3 Nov <br />2010, page B-31\] <br />A Community Advisory Team was established in 2008/09 to assist <br />in the development of an update to the Parks and Recreation <br />Master Plan, resulting in the adoption of a suggested Master Plan <br />in November 2010. This Master Plan will be presented for inclusion <br />in the 2040 Roseville Comprehensive Plan. <br />Why is it important? <br />o <br />This plan guides the Park and Recreation Program and <br />Commission in the future emphasis and direction of the program. <br />Where can I find out more about it? <br />o <br />https://www.cityofroseville.comjDocumentCenterjHomejViewj4843 <br />Sector and Constellation organizational structure for Parks & <br />Recreation <br />What is it? <br />o <br />Roseville is organized into four sectors, formed by the intersection <br />of Snelling Avenue and Highway 36. Fifteen neighborhood <br />constellations further segment the city, bounded by significant <br />linked by walkways and bike paths <br />Why is it important? <br />o <br />Some park services are best delivered on a community-wide basis <br />while others work best in smaller neighborhood segments.
