6.Ongoing Topics <br />I.Education Primer for Parks and Recreation <br />Chair Gelbach and Vice Chair OBrienhave been working on a primer for <br />current and future Commissioners. This is an education tool to assist new and <br />existing Commission members with history and knowledge. You have <br />commented on a previous draft. Draft number three is included in your packet for <br />another review and comment. Gelbach and OBrienwill lead this item at the <br />meeting. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review, update, provide feedback. <br />II.Cedarholm Community Building Replacement Update <br />The construction of the Cedarholm Community Building continues and at this <br />point is about right on schedule. Steel is up and walls have started. <br />Staff has been working on an operational plan including the alcohol policy, which <br />may require a request to adjust the ordinance. Your input will be valuable as we <br />move forward. <br />The Golf Course closed for the season on December 3, 2017. <br />Staff will plan to provide you with an update at your meeting. <br />This topic is a regular agenda item each month in order to keep the Commission <br />updated, gather advice andallow for continued community input. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review, update, provide feedback <br />7.Staff Report -Othernew or relevant communicationsprovided as necessary. <br />Other <br />8. <br />Adjourn <br />9. <br /> <br />
