Staff commented that each item is looked at <br />44individually on the list in terms of upgrade date and potential replacements and/or <br />45additions. <br />46 <br />47Park Improvement <br />48The Park Improvement CIP includes items such as playgrounds (which are on a <br />49set life cycle), buildings,and shelters, etc.Another capital itemincluded is the <br />50communitygyms, however, there is no money identified as it also listed under <br />51General Facilities.Natural Resources has evolved into a substantial effort.The <br />52future of the Natural Resource program will include a combination of volunteers, <br />53staffand City funding. <br />54 <br />55Regarding the Natural Resource Program, Vice-Chair O’Brien brought up that <br />56there are volunteers willing to cut buckthorn every weekend. However, they have <br />57not had a staff person present who can spray the buckthorn in order to limit future <br />58growth. Staff confirmed that it is under Natural Resources. <br />74 <br />75Commissioner Baggenstoss questioned the inclusion of the 2134 Cleveland <br />76Avenueand 1716 MarionStreetprojectsin the CIP.
