80Commissioner Stoner inquired aboutthe 2017 items identified for the OVAL. <br />81Staff relayed the City Council’sintention to go to the State of MN to seek funding <br />82for the OVAL during the next bonding session in2020.Currently,Roseville Parks <br />83and Recreation is working with an Engineer who will put together a CIP package <br />84and cost estimate thatwill potentially be used in the bonding bill. Speed Skating <br />85and Bandy arealso doingan analysis on the types of padsand other equipment <br />86needed to attract larger eventsthat could beincludedin the Bill. The City Council <br />87is considering language in the next week that will indicatesupportandto seek <br />88inclusion in the Bonding Bill. The goal is that State funding will offset thecosts <br />89identified in the CIP for the OVAL. <br />90 <br />91By industry standard Lexington Park, Pioneer Park andOwasso Hills Park have <br />92been identified as past duefor replacement. The Parks and Recreation Department <br />93has continuedtoinspect andextend the life of those play structures,ensuringthat <br />94they are safe,as they look at the timeframesand available fundsfor replacement. <br />95 <br />96Asset Management Programs –Categories, Lifecycles and Conditions <br />97The Asset Management Program utilizes a 1-5ranking condition rating.
