Chair Gelbach will officially swear him <br />in. We welcome himto the Commission and thank him for hisinterest in Roseville <br />Parks and Recreation. <br />Requested Commission Action: <br />Welcome to Commissioner Quick and <br />introduction of all Commissioners. <br />Approval of Minutes of the January 2,2018Meeting <br />4. <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of January 2, 2018.Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action:Approve/amend meetingminutesof January 2, <br />2018 <br />Parks and Recreation Accreditation 2019 <br />5. <br />In 1994 Roseville was one of eight Parks and Recreation Agencies in the Country to <br />become Accredited through the Commission for Accreditation of Parks and <br />Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). The accreditation program includes 151 standards in <br />ten categories (see attached list). <br />CAPRA accreditation is a five-year cycle that includes fourphases; training of <br />agency staff on the Accreditation process,development of the agency self <br />assessment report, an onsite visitation and the CAPRA review and decision. Within <br />each of the five years between assessments, an annual report is submitted to <br />assure continued compliance with the accreditation standards. <br />Roseville’s Accreditation onsite visit to be determinedlater in 2018 for 2019. <br />Staff will be prepared to provide you with an understanding of the program and your <br />involvement. <br />Requested Action <br />: Discussion <br /> <br />
