The Commissioners introduced themselves to Youth <br />19Commissioner Quick and shared why they joined the RosevilleParks and Recreation <br />20Commission. <br />21 <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES –JANUARY 2, 2018 MEETING <br />224) <br />23Commissioner Bole moved to approve the January 2, 2018 meeting minutes.Commissioner <br />24Warzechaseconds. Motion passed unanimously. <br />25 <br />PARKS AND RECREATION ACCREDITATION 2019 <br />265) <br />27Staff member Matt Johnson provided an overview of the Commission for Accreditation of <br />28Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) program. Roseville was one of the original pilot <br />29organizations during the program’s inception in 1994. The accreditation process consist of: <br />30151 Standard self-assessment <br />31Report prepared for CAPRA Commission and on-site visitors <br />32Visit/audit <br />33Review and Accreditation by Commission <br />34Yearly Review <br />35 <br />36The 151 standards are broken into 10 chapter categories, including: Agency Authority, Role <br />37and Responsibility, Planning, Organization and Administration, Human Resources, Financial <br />38Management, Program and Services Management, Facility and Land Use Management, <br />39Public Safety, Law Enforcement and Security, Risk Management and Evaluation, <br />40Assessment and Research. <br />41 <br />4 <br /> <br />
