Motion passed unanimously. <br />22 <br />Cleveland Avenue Park Planning Community Open House <br />234) <br />24Park Superintendent Taylor provided the history of the park planningprocessfor 2134 <br />25Cleveland AvenueN. Planning meetingswere held on: <br />26Tuesday, August 29, 2017 –Community meeting to hear opportunities and <br />27brainstorm (62 attendees) <br />28Thursday October 5, 2017–Concept design review and comments (54 attendees) <br />29Thursday,November 2 , 2017 –Preferred concept master plan <br />30 <br />31In addition, feedback wascollected via on-line, phone calls, website, and individual <br />32meetings. <br />33 <br />34LHB staff, Lydia Major, reviewedthe preferred concept for the Cleveland Avenuesite. <br />35Specificfeedback on the location wasthe traffic concern on County Rd. B and Cleveland. <br />36The preferred concept addresses some of the concern with the use of berms and physical <br />37barriers. The design also incorporates twoplay experiences(nature themed andinspired <br />38area), picnic tables, bike racksandapollinator garden. <br />39 <br />40The Commission discussed the existing and future tree canopy. <br /> <br />
