Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 5:40 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> Mayor Roe noted several Commission candidates either withdrew from consideration or <br /> were unable to attend tonight's City Council meeting, so an updated list of interviews has <br /> been provided to the Council as well as to the public present tonight. <br /> Etten moved, Laliberte seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Hold Public Hearing to Consider Modified Tax Increment Financing (TIF) <br /> Plans to Assist with the McGough Construction, Inc. Headquarters Project <br /> Located at 2785 Fairview Ave. North & Adopt a Resolution Removing the <br /> Property from TIF District No. 17 and 17A <br /> Housing & Economic Development Program Manager Kelsey briefly highlighted <br /> this item as detailed in the RCA and related attachments dated February 26, 2018. <br /> She recalled the REDA took action on this earlier this evening, and the next steps <br /> are now being presented to the Council. She summarized that the actions required <br /> from the City Council this evening include adopting a resolution that removes the <br /> parcel from the existing TIF District. This action must be done so that a new re- <br /> development TIF District can be created to support the project. Second, the Coun- <br /> cil will hold a public hearing prior to considering the creation of a new TIF Dis- <br /> trict, District No. 20. <br /> Mayor Roe summarized the first order of action is to vote on removing the subject <br /> property from Districts 17 and 17A. <br />
