Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, February 26, 2018 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11497 (Attachment <br /> C) entitled, "Resolution Approving the Removal of a Parcel from Tax Increment <br /> Financing District No. 17 and Hazardous Substance Subdistrict No. 17A Within <br /> Development District No. 1." <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Mayor Roe reviewed public hearing protocol and opened and closed the public <br /> hearing at approximately 5:48 p.m. for the purpose of receiving public input on <br /> the above-referenced item; with no one appearing for or against. <br /> Laliberte moved, McGehee seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11498 (At- <br /> tachment D) entitled, "Resolution Adopting a Modification to the Development <br /> Program for Development District No. 1; and Establishing Tax Increment Financ- <br /> ing District No. 20 — McGough Redevelopment Therein and Adopting a Tax In- <br /> crement Financing Plan." <br /> Council Discussion <br /> Mayor Roe stated the Council has previously expressed support for this project, is <br /> glad to have the developer redevelop this project, and is looking forward to its <br /> conclusion. <br /> Councilmember McGehee commended the developer on the creative use of the <br /> roof trusses on this project. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Recess - <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 5:51 p.m., and reconvened at approx- <br /> imately 6:00 p.m., in order to clear the table for the Commission interviews. <br /> b. Commission Interviews <br /> The council interviewed candidates for the Finance Commission, Human Rights, Inclu- <br /> sion and Engagement Commission, Public Works, Environment and Transportation <br /> Commission, Planning Commission and Police Civil Service Commission from approxi- <br /> mately 6:00 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. <br />
