Where an applicant proposes to replace a wireless support <br /> structure, the city may impose reasonable restocking, replacement, or <br /> relocation requirements on the replacement of such structure. At the <br /> • time of issuance of permit, permitee shall enter into a collocation <br /> agreement as required by Section 28-103(e). City retains the right to <br /> remove any attachment if necessary to protect public safety or prevent <br /> imminent damage to city infrastructure. <br /> 4. Wireless facility shall be removed or relocated at permittee's sole ex- <br /> pense and in timely manner pursuant to written city request. Small <br /> wireless facility permit shall be automatically terminated and wireless <br /> support structure removed should the wireless facility not be continu- <br /> ously operated and maintained for a period of six months. Permittee <br /> may not transfer, assign, or convey small wireless facility permit with- <br /> out the consent of city. <br /> 5. No wireless support structure installed within the right-of-way follow- <br /> ing March 12, 2018 shall exceed 50 feet in height without the city's <br /> written authorization, provided that the city may impose a lower height <br /> limit in the applicable permit to protect the public health, safety and <br /> welfare or to protect the right-of-way and its current use, and further <br /> provided that a registrant may replace an existing wireless support <br /> structure exceeding 50 feet in height with a structure of the same <br /> height subject to such conditions or requirements as may be imposed <br /> in the applicable permit. <br /> 6. Wireless support structure installed within the right-of-way after <br /> March 12, 2018 shall be self-supporting, non-wood monopole having <br /> maximum base diameter of 12" and be designed for small wireless fa- <br /> cility, wind, snow, ice and other loading requirements: shall discour- <br /> age climbing; and shall blend into the surrounding environment <br /> through black, bronze, gray or white color or other architectural treat- <br /> ment. Wireless support structure shall be designed to house communi- <br /> cation cables and electrical wires inside of the monopole, except wire- <br /> less support structure or utility pole existing prior to May 18, 2017, in <br /> which case cable and wire shall be black or white coated and attached <br /> to wireless support structure using similar coated bands or fasteners. <br /> 7. No wireless facility may extend more than 10 feet above its wireless <br /> support structure, and shall not exceed a total height of 50 feet without <br /> the city's written authorization. Small wireless facility antennas and <br /> associated equipment shall be mounted flush to the wireless support <br /> structure or utility pole so that the antenna(s) and associated equipment <br /> do not extend outward thereof by more than 12 inches, except for in- <br /> dustrial zone where antenna(s) and associated equipment shall not ex- <br /> tend outward from the wireless support structure more than 24 inches. <br /> 8. Where an applicant proposes to install a wireless support structure in <br /> the right-of-way, the city may impose reasonable separation require- <br /> ments between such structure and any existing wireless support struc- <br />
