Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> Mayor Roe noted Councilmember Laliberte is en route to the Council meeting from an- <br /> other function, and she will be here shortly. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> a. Arbor Day Proclamation <br /> Mayor Roe read a proclamation regarding establishing April 27, 2018 as Roseville Arbor <br /> Day. <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, proclaiming April 27, 2018 as Roseville Arbor Day. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> b. Introduction of New Firefighters <br /> Fire Chief O'Neill introduced Assistant Fire Chief David Brosnahan <br /> Assistant Fire Chief Brosnahan explained the hiring process from the summer of 2017. <br /> The City received over 180 applicants, which was a significant turnout. Those 180 were <br /> whittled down to 18, and then finally down to the final 3 who were hired. <br /> Firefighters Chris Rice, Cody Thornberg, and Israel Diaz introduced themselves and pro- <br /> vided an overview of their educational and professional background. <br /> Mayor Roe welcomed the firefighters and thanked them for their service. <br />
