Council to approve the PWETC as the Committee (or Green Team) for Green <br />Step Cities. <br />Ordinance Updates <br />o At the April 9 meeting, Council adopted the new Right of Way Management <br />Ordinance with the new permit regulations for small cell wireless. Council also <br />adopted the new Noise Control Ordinance that exempts the City from some <br />aspects of the ordinance for certain City projects. <br />• Comprehensive Plan <br />o The Comprehensive Plan is scheduled for a final review with the City Council at <br />their May 71' Council meeting with a likely formal adoption at the May 21' <br />meeting. The current draft sections, including the Transportation Plan, are <br />available on line on the City website. A link to the Comprehensive Plan Update <br />page is available on the City's home page. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Snow plowed for three major snow events. <br />• Installing new street names signs and post. <br />• Cleared and cleaned storm sewers and catch basins. <br />• Turned leaves at the compost site. <br />• Repaired/fabricated seasonal equipment. <br />• St Paul asphalt plant open and staff is patching as needed. <br />• Started street sweeping in the industrial areas. <br />• Cleaned litter in commercial area right of ways. <br />• Purchased and took delivery of a sanitary sewer inspection camera to be used for spot <br />inspections <br />• Began working on future CIP and 2019 Operating Budgets <br />• Attended the Annual Collection System and Water Distribution Operators conferences to <br />maintain licenses <br />• Collected water samples for bacteriological testing <br />• Collected samples for disinfection by-products (Haleocidic Acids and Trihalomenthanes) <br />• Worked with Yale Mechanical to repair Boiler #1 at City Hall <br />• Continued replacing meter heads and radios <br />Attachments: <br />A: 2018 Project Map <br />B: April Development Activity Report <br />C: Green Step Cities Annual Report <br />
