Plans and specs will be developed and upgrades will be planned for 2019. <br />Metropolitan Council Environmental Services updates: <br />• Avon street <br />Project is scheduled to begin in May. Work consists of replacing a section of <br />sewer main, installing a new meter pit, and CIPP lining the rest of the sewer main <br />pipe. Work on this site is scheduled to be substantially completed by the end of <br />October 2018. <br />Upper Villa <br />o Project is scheduled to begin in May. Works consists of installing two new <br />manholes and CIPP lining the sewer main. Work on this site is scheduled to be <br />substantially completed by the end of October 2018. <br />County Road 88 & Long Lake Road <br />o Project is scheduled to begin in February of 2019. Works consists of CIPP lining <br />the sewer main. Work on this site is scheduled to be substantially completed by <br />the end of November 2019. <br />Ramsey County updates: <br />• Lexington Avenue Resurfacing <br />o As part of the County's pavement project this summer, Lexington Avenue from <br />Como Avenue in St. Paul to TH 36 in Roseville will be milled and overlaid. hi <br />addition to the pavement work, curb ramps will be updated to latest ADA <br />standards. <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation updates: <br />• County Road B2 and Snelling signal replacement project is completed. Final cleanup will <br />take place in the spring. <br />• MnDOT is finalizing plans to perform pavement maintenance on 35W south of TH 36 in <br />2018. Included in this project will be the replacement of the traffic signal at Cleveland <br />and County Road B. There will be impacts to some ramps in Roseville including the <br />Cleveland Ave/County Road B ramps and access to TH 280. Staff will bring more <br />information on this project to the Commission as details are made available. <br />• Preliminary discussion and modeling has begun on potential MnPASS Lanes on Highway <br />36 from 35W past 35E (likely just past Highway 61). Full funding has not been identified <br />and discussion continues on whether to build a westbound MnPASS or not. The <br />complexities of how to terminate the westbound MnPASS Lane with the merge into 35W <br />is driving that discussion. <br />Misc. Items: <br />• Oasis Pond Iron -Enhanced Sand Filter <br />Rice Creek Watershed District will be installing an iron -enhanced sand filter in <br />Oasis Park near Lincoln Avenue and County Road C2. The system will pump <br />water from Oasis Pond and the Ramsey County Ditch 4 (RCD4) drainage system. <br />The project will remove dissolved phosphorus and other pollutants before <br />discharging the cleaner water back to RCD4. Work is anticipated to begin near the <br />end of May and be finished by the end of July. <br />Green Step Cities <br />Staff have been working to get Roseville from a Step 2 to a Step 3. From the <br />February 27, 2018 Commission meeting, there are five items that need to be <br />completed to move to Step 3. One of the items was 24.2 — Organize Goals and <br />outcome measures and report to the community. To accomplish this goal, staff <br />prepared an Annual Report (Attachment C). Staff will be bringing a resolution to <br />
