Certificates and <br />limited permits are only available when a compliance agreement is signed between the <br />Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the firm interested in moving the regulated article. <br />MDA has been renewing compliance agreements and working to certify heat-treated <br />firewood producers. Currently there are 7 MDA certified producers of heat-treated <br />firewood in Minnesota: <br />https://www.mda.state.mn.us/plants/pestmanagement/firewood/firewooddealers.aspx <br />OUTREACH <br />MDA <br />MDA helped staff a booth at the Northern Green Expo at the Minneapolis Convention Center January 2-4. <br />EAB Regional Meetings were held in St. Cloud on January 30, and in Mankato on February 8. About 80 public <br />works, parks and forest managers attended the meetings. <br />MDA staffed a booth at the Rochester Arborist Workshop February 22. <br />MDA presented EAB information with the Sherburne Soil and Water Conservation District to volunteer visual <br />surveyors on March 2 and at a Woodbury EAB Open House on March 27. <br />12 <br /> <br />
