Roseville will host a Naturalization <br /> Ceremony on Monday, May 14 at the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive. This is <br /> the fifth year that Roseville has hosted a naturalization ceremony. <br /> The Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission, working with the U.S. <br /> District Court of Minnesota, is hosting the ceremony on May 14 at 10:00 a.m. The community is <br /> invited to witness this exciting occasion. <br /> Becoming a U.S. citizen is a difficult process. Applicants must meet specific criteria, including <br /> being at least 18 years of age at the time of filing; continuous residence in the U.S. as a green <br /> card holder for at least five years before filing the application; ability to read, write, and speak <br /> English; and the knowledge and understanding of U.S. history and government, among other <br /> criteria. Join the Roseville Police Use of <br /> Force Instructors and Crisis Negotiators for an opportunity to learn how officers train for some <br /> of the more challenging aspects of police work, including de-escalation, crisis intervention and <br /> use of force.
