Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> DRAFT — February 21, 2018 - DRAFT <br /> Commissioners Present: Nicole Dailey, Etienne Djevi, John Eichenlaub, Wayne Groff, <br /> Chelsea Holub, Lauren Peterson, and James Ryerson <br /> Youth Commissioners Elizabeth Hansel and Acer Iverson <br /> Present: <br /> Commissioners Absent: Michelle Manke, excused, and Lisa Carey <br /> Staff Present: Rebecca Olson, Assistant City Manager <br /> Call to Order/Roll Call <br /> The Human Rights, Inclusion, and Engagement Commission (HRIEC) meeting was called to <br /> order at 6:32 p.m. Chair Holub requested roll call. <br /> Approve Agenda <br /> Commissioner Groff moved and Commissioner Peterson seconded a motion to approve the <br /> Agenda as presented. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Public Comment on Items Not on The Agenda <br /> Commissioner Djevi referred to a message he requested be sent out the Commission. He noted <br /> he has not heard back from the person who tagged him on Facebook. He took a screen shot of <br /> the webpage about how to file a report to let this person know they can find the information on <br /> the website. <br /> Chair Holub suggested this be added to next month's agenda. The Commission agreed. <br /> Commissioner Djevi also referred to a message sent to the Commission by the Minnesota <br /> Association of Non-Smokers. He stated one of them indicated they want to provide a 15-minute <br /> presentation to the Commission followed by a question and answer time. <br /> Chair Holub noted anyone can give public comment at meetings and the Council may also be <br /> interested in this item. <br />
