They can come to the open forum time of the meeting or talk to the City Manager. <br /> Chair Holub noted she will reach out to this group and to let them know their options for <br /> addressing the Council. <br /> Approve Minutes <br /> a. January 17, 2018 Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission <br /> Commissioner Dailey moved and Commissioner Ryerson seconded a motion to approve January <br /> 17, 2018 Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission meeting minutes as presented. <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Receive Reports <br /> Ms. Olson stated there were no reports. <br /> Youth Commissioner Report <br /> Youth Commissioner Hansel commented the teaching they held on January 31 went well. Based <br /> on the survey, the ninth graders enjoyed the topic about the war on drugs in the Philippines the <br /> most. <br /> Youth Commissioner Iverson reported the other topics that were presented provided further <br /> education on DACA, human trafficking, women's rights and Title IX. <br /> New Business <br /> a. Debrief from February 12 City Council Meeting <br /> Chair Holub noted most of the HRIEC members were present at this meeting and the two topics <br /> they brought forth were recommendations on the park planning outreach efforts and City <br /> proclamations. She stated it seemed the Council appreciated their feedback and <br /> recommendations on the park planning outreach efforts and will pass them on to the Parks <br /> Department. <br /> Commissioner Djevi commented the Council was a vague on what was to be done next. <br />
