Review of Annual City Proclamations <br /> Ms. Olson directed the Commission to the report on page 37 of the meeting packet that outlined <br /> the existing proclamations and how they are adopted. <br /> Commissioner Eichenlaub moved to table this item and the Commission agreed to include it as a <br /> future agenda item. <br /> d. Multicultural Festival Participation <br /> Ms. Olson reported they have received a request to again participate in the Multicultural Festival <br /> that is held on March 29, 2018 at Roseville Area High School. <br /> Commissioner Groff commented he attended last year, the duties were simple, and recommends <br /> they participate again. It is a good outreach with very minimal time commitment. <br /> Commissioners Peterson and Djevi also attended it last year and agreed it was a great event. <br /> Commissioner Holub inquired if they should recommend the City as a whole participate in this <br /> event and have the City's Volunteer Coordinator work on getting people to help out. <br /> Commissioner Peterson commented they only need about seven volunteers. <br /> Commissioner Carey moved and Commissioner Peterson seconded a motion to allocate <br /> volunteer hours of the HRIEC members and recommend the City Council authorize up to <br /> $150.00 in monetary donation to be allocated to the Roseville Area High School One World <br /> Multicultural Show. Motion passed unanimously. <br />
