Review of Annual City Proclamations Ms. Olson directed the Commission to the report on page 37 of the meeting packet that outlined the existing proclamations and how they are adopted. Commissioner Eichenlaub moved to table this item and the Commission agreed to include it as a future agenda item. d. Multicultural Festival Participation Ms. Olson reported they have received a request to again participate in the Multicultural Festival that is held on March 29, 2018 at Roseville Area High School. Commissioner Groff commented he attended last year, the duties were simple, and recommends they participate again. It is a good outreach with very minimal time commitment. Commissioners Peterson and Djevi also attended it last year and agreed it was a great event. Commissioner Holub inquired if they should recommend the City as a whole participate in this event and have the City's Volunteer Coordinator work on getting people to help out. Commissioner Peterson commented they only need about seven volunteers. Commissioner Carey moved and Commissioner Peterson seconded a motion to allocate volunteer hours of the HRIEC members and recommend the City Council authorize up to $150.00 in monetary donation to be allocated to the Roseville Area High School One World Multicultural Show. Motion passed unanimously.
