However, Parks and Recreation is very involved and works with them closely. The Public Works Department and their Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission(PWET)has been working on updating the Pathway Master Plan (enclosed). They have overlaid the Parks and Recreation “Constellation” connection concept (enclosed) into the overall plan. Public Works staff will be at yourmeeting to provide a brief background, identify progressmade in pathway construction,reflect any significant changes from the previous planand gather any advice from you. You have gathered in ameeting room at around 6 p.m. that night. We will get you the agenda when it is available to us, which is generally the Thursday prior to the Monday meeting. In May, you briefly touched on this topic. A typical request for City Council Action (RCA) is in your packet for you to reviewand finalize. This is the last Parks and Recreation Commission meeting prior to the joint meeting so please be prepared to finalize the meeting approach,as you are comfortable.
