ACTIVITY: <br />� 1. Roaeville's Civil Defense operations are directed by the <br />City Manager, with day to day coordination done by the <br />Deputy Chief of Police. Civil Defense is responsible for <br />' mitigating, preparing for, responding to, and recovering <br />'' from natural and manmade disasters. A comprehensive <br />emergency plan has been developed, and is regularly updated <br />:.__ to keep abreast of County, State and Federal guidelines and <br />regulationa. Thirteen outdoor warning sirens are maintained <br />' by the unit. <br />2. The Roseville Reserve Police is a unit of the Civil Defense <br />Operations. The Reserves are responsible for park patrol, <br />assisting at special events, and assisting during emergencies <br />and disasters. <br />3. The City outdoor warning sirens were converted <br />control aetivation in 1987.
