Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: June 26, 2018 Item No: 4 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />• 2018 Pavement Management Project <br />o Council awarded this year's project to T.A. Schifsky and Sons. Work consists of <br />replacing 1 mile of water main and 6 miles of pavement resurfacing. <br />• Work is approximately 50% completed and is anticipated to be done by <br />the end of August. <br />• Water Booster Station Phase 2 <br />o Plans have been completed for Phase 2 of the booster station. The project will be <br />advertised for bids starting this week with a bid opening scheduled for July 17. <br />o Work includes HVAC upgrades, electrical upgrades including creation of an <br />electrical room, security upgrades, replacement of two pumps and replacement of <br />some underground piping and valves. <br />• Parks Renewal Pathway Project <br />o All new pathways associated with this project have been completed. <br />• North side of County Road B between Dale St and Sandhurst. <br />• East side of Lexington between Roselawn Ave and County Road B. <br />• West side of Victoria between County Road C and Woodhill Drive. <br />• A new pathway within Tamarack Park from Farrington St to the new <br />playground equipment. <br />• 2018 Sewer CIPP <br />o This year's project involves lining 6.0 miles of sanitary sewer pipe and two small <br />segments of storm sewer. Veit & Companies was awarded the project in <br />November. This project is approximately 40% complete with the project <br />scheduled to be completed by the end of September. <br />• Walsh Lift Station Project <br />o Work on the storm water lift station is complete and the new pump is operational. <br />• Lounge Lift Station <br />o This sanitary sewer lift station will be rehabbed with new pumps, controls and a <br />new force main. Work will begin the week of June 25. <br />• Fernwood Lift Station <br />o The City's consultant is performing a feasibility study on different options to <br />rehabilitate this lift station. Based on the outcome of the feasibility report plans <br />and specifications will be completed later this summer for construction next year. <br />• ADA Inventory <br />o Engineering staff is currently measuring and inventorying all City owned curb <br />ramps (419) to makes sure they are in ADA compliance to include in our ADA <br />Transition Plan. <br />
