Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, June 18,2018 <br /> Page 18 <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11518 (Attachment <br /> A) entitled, "Resolution Awarding Quote for 2018 Drainage Improvement Pro- <br /> ject." <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, McGehee,Willmus, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 1. Consider Extending the City Fiber Optic Network <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the County Road C2/Twin Lakes <br /> Fiber Ownership,Use, and Access Agreement(Attachment A). <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 10. Council& City Manager Communications,Reports, and Announcements <br /> City Manager Trudgeon provided an overview on the agenda items in upcoming Council <br /> meetings. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte asked about the update to be given at the July 91h Council meet- <br /> ing from the HREIC. <br /> Assistant City Manager Olson responded that several of the HRIEC members will be pre- <br /> sent. The goal is to ensure the Commission is on the right path on their various projects, <br /> given the feedback from the last joint Council-HRIEC meeting. <br /> 11. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings <br /> Councilmember Etten suggested looking at tools to allow staff to be more proactive with <br /> certain properties and react to properties consistently coming back to Council. Today's <br /> abatement is an example of that. <br /> Councilmember Etten also suggested the Council take up consideration of registration of <br /> vacant properties. <br /> Mayor Roe suggested looking at another aspect of the noise ordinance, specifically com- <br /> plaints about a particular property and some noise related to recent events. <br /> Councilmember McGehee asked whether the materials are on hand measure decibels. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon concurred City does have that equipment. <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, recessing as the Council and reconvening as the Eco- <br /> nomic Development Authority at 8:46 p.m. <br />
