Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting with the City Council <br /> Chair O'Brien introduced the Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC). Chair <br /> O'Brien highlighted a few of the areas in the narrative provided to the Council. <br /> The three main areas of concern include the emerald ash borer, The OVAL, and <br /> what is next for the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> Chair O'Brien emphasized the community outreach to the SE Roseville park that <br /> is being developed on Marion Street and noted that is an especially important out- <br /> reach effort to make. The Parks department changed the way they reached out to <br /> that community, and the PRC would like to encourage the Parks department to <br /> continue to use that model. The PRC was involved in the development of the <br /> community building at Cedarholm, and that is complete and will have an open <br /> house this Friday.
