Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action:Approve/amend meeting minutes of July 12, 2018 <br />5.Presentation of MRPA Award of Excellence <br />Annually, the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association(MRPA)present awards <br />of excellence for notable projects and programsfrom the previous year. The City of <br />Roseville is the 2017Award of Excellence recipient in the Parks and Facilities <br />category for theCedarholm Community Building and Golf Course.The application is <br />included in your packet. <br />A MRPA representative will beat your meeting to present the award. Thanks to all <br />who made this possible including Jill Anfang, Sean McDonagh, Jim Taylor, Steve <br />Anderson, and all other city staff,the Resident Advisory Team, City Council, City <br />Manager Pat Trudgeon, Parks and Recreation Commission and the entire <br />community. <br />Requested Commission Action:Hear presentation and accept award. <br />6.Discussion of 2018 Community Survey Results <br />Included in your packet is the 2018 community survey results summary for your <br />awareness, review and discussion. This includes an overall summaryof the city as <br />well as a separate Parks and Recreation section. <br />The survey highlights the park buildings use, awarenessand satisfaction. This is <br />something that has been a key topic of discussion by the City Council and the Parks <br />and Recreation Commission since the replacement of the previous warming houses <br />with buildings that function as a warming house for the outdoor rinks as well as <br />provide gathering spacesfor various functions and meetings. <br />Requested Commission Action:Review and discuss the Parks and Recreation <br />related results and consider guidance as appropriate. <br />2 <br /> <br />
