Ramsey County: • County Road C Reconstruction o The County will be reconstructing County Road C between Highway 88 in St Anthony and Long Lake in Roseville in 2019. • A project layout is shown in Appendix C. • Road will be reconstructed with two lanes in each direction. • Road will be concrete pavement. • 8 foot bituminous pathway will be constructed on the south side of the road. • Signal will be replaced at Long Lake Road and Walnut Street. • Additional turn lanes will be added on Long Lake Road. • Railroad crossing will be replaced and new signals and gates will be constructed. • Upgraded storm sewer. • Minimal water and sanitary sewer replacement. • Work is scheduled for spring 2019. Minnesota Department of Transportation updates: • MnDOT's 35W resurfacing project between 4u' St SE in Minneapolis to County Road C in Roseville is underway. Major work and road closures will occur on/off peak hours. o Future lane closures • SB I -35W between 4u' St in Minneapolis and County Road C in Roseville will be closed from Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. through 11:00 a.m Saturday September 22. • NB 1-35W between 4"' St in Minneapolis and County Road C in Roseville will be closed from Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. through 8:00 a.m Sunday, September 23. o Additionally the signal light at County Road B and Cleveland Avenue will be replaced with this project. o Work is anticipated to be completed in October. • I -35W MnPASS project - httn://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/proiects/i35wroseville/ o Construct MnPASS Express Lanes (one lane in each direction) in the middle of existing 1-35W between County Road C in Roseville and Lexington Avenue (County Rd 17) in Blaine. o Repave 1-3 5W and ramps between County Road C in Roseville to just north of Sunset Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. o Replace and repair bridges along the project area o Install noise walls on the east side of I -35W just north of the County Road C ramps to County Road D. o Road shoulder preparation (fall 2018): Repairing road shoulders and constructing crossovers on 1-35W north of County Road C. o Contract will be awarded in October to Ames Construction which had the winning Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. o Major roadwork will begin Spring 2019. City Council Update: For more information on any of these items please reference the City Council Agenda on the City's website. • Aug. 27"': Approved a Conditional Use Permit (was operating under a three year Interim Use Permit) for Mudslingers Coffee at Lexington and County Road B. Approved a Preliminary Plat at 2237 Cleveland Avenue (northeast quadrant of Cleveland and County Road B) creating five total residential lots.
