Road D. Maintenance will include tree and brush removal. Staff will then follow <br />up to review the ditch profile to ensure it is flowing as intended, and that it can <br />adequately handle the volume and rate from the lift station. <br />3. Other Improvements <br />Twin Lakes East Collector: As an extension of the Twin Lakes Parkway improvements, the <br />intersections of Terrace Ave and Lincoln Ave, and Lincoln Ave and C-2 will be evaluated to <br />provide a better connection from Fairview Avenue to Snelling Avenue. An additional left <br />turn lane from east bound County Rd C-2 to Snelling will be provided as part of the project. <br />Funding for the project is through TIF funding. <br />35W MnPASS Project (MNDOT): Construct MnPASS Express Lanes (one lane in each <br />direction) in the middle of existing I -35W between County Road C in Roseville and <br />Lexington Avenue (County Rd 17) in Blaine. Repave I -35W and ramps between County <br />Road C in Roseville to just north of Sunset Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. Replace <br />and repair bridges along the project area. Install noise walls on the east side of 1-35W just <br />north of the County Road C ramps to County Road D. Road shoulder preparation (fall <br />2018): Repairing road shoulders and constructing crossovers on I -35W north of County Road <br />C. Contract will be awarded in October to Ames Construction which had the winning <br />Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. Major road work will begin Spring 2019. <br />County Road C Concrete Rehabilitation Project— Cleveland to Fairview (Ramsey <br />County): The county will be completing a concrete rehabilitation project to repair bad <br />concrete joints. The project will involve some lane closures during the work. <br />County Road C Reconstruction Project (Ramsey County): The County will be <br />reconstructing County Road C between Highway 88 in St Anthony and Long Lake in <br />Roseville in 2019. The road will be reconstructed with two lanes in each direction. The new <br />road will be concrete pavement. An 8 foot bituminous pathway will be constructed on the <br />south side of the road. The signal will be replaced at Long Lake Road and Walnut Street. <br />Additional turn lanes will be added on Long Lake Road. The railroad crossing will be <br />replaced and new signals and gates will be constructed. The storm sewer will be upgraded. <br />There will be minimal water and sanitary sewer replacement. The work is scheduled for <br />spring 2019. <br />4. Other Proiects <br />MS4 Permit Updates: Staff will be working with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />(MPCA) to address any changes that are need for our permit as the new permit renewal <br />process begins. <br />The overall cost of the Public Works Work Plan is approximately $6-7 million dollars. <br />Recommended Action: <br />Comment on the 2019 work plan. <br />Attachments: <br />A.
