City of <br /> RSEVILIJ <br /> pe <br /> Minnesota,USA <br /> Regular City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br /> Monday, January 7, 2019 <br /> City Manager Trudgeon introduced himself and indicated he would emceeing the admin- <br /> istering the Oath of Office to elected City Council Members. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon recognized Representative Alice Hausman and Representative Jamie <br /> Becker-Finn as well as School Board Members that were in the audience. He thanked <br /> them for attending the meeting as well as the elected Councilmembers families. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon,noted the transition of new City leadership with the election of Wayne <br /> Groff and the re-election of Bob Willmus and Dan Roe to serve the City. He stated this <br /> is the start of a new four-year journey for elected Councilmember Groff and re-elected <br /> Councilmember Willmus and Mayor Roe to continue to serve the community and provide <br /> their guidance to the stewardship to the City. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon asked the audience to stand for the pledge of allegiance. <br /> 1. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Oath of Office <br /> Mr. Trudgeon asked Elected Councilmember Wayne Groff and Mr. Jim Dryden to come <br /> up to the podium to administer the Oath of Office. <br /> Mr. Jim Dryden administered the Oath of Office to newly elected Councilmember Wayne <br /> Groff. <br /> Councilmember Groff thanked the audience for coming to the presentation. He thanked <br /> his husband Jim Dryden for working so hard on the campaign. He thanked his sisters <br /> Nancy and Susan for their hard work on his campaign as well as Representative Alice <br /> Hausman and Representative Jamie Becker-Finn because both individuals have been an <br /> inspiration for him with the work both have been doing at the Capitol. He stated he was <br /> pleased the people of Roseville elected him and he is very excited to work for the resi- <br /> dents. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon asked Councilmember Willmus and his daughter Nicole to come forward <br /> to administer the Oath of Office. <br /> Ms. Nicole Willmus administered the Oath of Office to Councilmember Bob Willmus. <br /> Councilmember Willmus thanked everyone for his re-election. He stated it is an honor <br /> and privilege to serve given the history his family has in Roseville. He stated a year ago <br />
