Items for Next Meeting — January 2019 <br />357 Discussion ensued regarding the January PWETC agenda: <br />358 ■ Maintenance Facility Study <br />359 ■ Tour of Maintenance Facility <br />360 ■ Resources to Address Climate Change <br />361 ■ Research Water Monitor Technologies <br />362 <br />363 Mr. Culver reminded the Commission there is not a meeting in December. <br />364 <br />365 Chair Cihacek asked if the Commercial Water Rat ould be ready to review in <br />366 January. <br />367 <br />368 Mr. Freihammer stated staff is gathering information and approximately half of it <br />369 is done. It is currently with the Finance Department so he was not sure if it would <br />370 be ready by the January meeting. <br />371 <br />372 Chair Cihacek thought the Comm 1 Water Rate discussion may be a couple <br />373 hour discussion. He thought Februa ht be od month to ok at that if it <br />374 will be ready by then. <br />375 fth6' <br />376 Chair Cihacek asked if the Commission coul k at resources to address climate <br />377 change or to begin the research for people that would be able to advise the <br />378 Commission on forming a policy. He also wondered if the staff could have a <br />379 presentation on different water monitor technologies. <br />380 <br />381 Mr. Culver thought if ready, February would be a good month to start discussion <br />382 on the Com rcial Water Rates. <br />383 <br />384 4M�airCihacek thought that would be a good time to also look at water tech and get <br />385 some public interest. March, he thought would be a good month to start to look at <br />386 climate change. <br />387 <br />388 Member Misra thought a good starting point could be comparing prevention to <br />389 accommodating changes. Looking at those two-pronged areas so as the <br />390 Commission mov#erward with that discussion prevention could be looked at <br />391 versus adapt n <br />392 <br />393 Chair Cihacek t ght the Commission should have a joint meeting with the Parks <br />394 Commission in 2019 to discuss forestry concerns. <br />395 <br />396 Mr. Culver thought that would be a good idea and noted the Commission should <br />397 review the Master Tree Plan for updates. <br />398 <br />399 8.
