PM C%°.. <br />PM -1% <br />- AM -13% <br />Data from the Streetlight analysis showed 69 percent of traffic during the afternoon rush hour <br />continued northward through the corridor (i.e., regional trips) while 22 percent of the traffic used <br />County Road C (i.e., 13 percent heading westbound, 9 percent heading eastbound), accounting for <br />91 percent of the northbound traffic just south of County Road C. <br />Anticipated Future Traffic Diversions <br />With the upcoming I -35W managed lane project adding a MnPASS lane on I -35W between TH 36 <br />in the City of Roseville and Sunset Avenue (CSAH 53) in the City of Lino Lakes, we also evaluated <br />the impact this may have on regional traffic, specifically traffic diversions to/from Snelling Avenue. <br />Anticipated completion of the MnPASS project is 2022. Forecast results of traffic volume changes <br />on Snelling Avenue for the managed lane No Build and Build scenarios, as well as historical <br />MnDOT Average Daily Traffic (ADT) counts are plotted in Figure 7. Data in Figure 6 is <br />representative of Snelling Avenue between County Road C and Lydia Avenue W. Traffic diversion <br />from Snelling Avenue to I -35W MnPASS is 900 and 1,400 vehicles per day for Year 2022 and Year <br />2040, respectively. Further details regarding the traffic forecasting is documented in a technical <br />memorandum included as Attachment A. <br />
