Public Co nts
Ms. Priscilla Morton, 2593 Western stated she was at the meeting because she was
very concerned about climate change and what is being done about it. She stated
she has read a portion of the Roseville 2040 plan which deals with Environmental
Protection and Resilience which has a lot of great information. She wondered if it
4was up to date in meeting the IPCC recommendations to get to 45 percent below
2010 levels by 2030 and to zery 2050.

Ms. on stated from individual to national, everyone has a role to play. She
stated the plan does not exactly draw out how this will all be accomplished. She
wondered if the Public Works Commission supported the goal that the IPCC has
recommended to them and would the Commission actively push for that
recommendation through the City Council. She asked for those items that cannot
be done locally, is the Commission willing to endorse plans that will get the City
to those goals. She stated what she is finding not quite satisfactory, in her mind, is
an actual plan to get there.

Ms. Morton stated the nation is not on track at all. She stated as a citizen, she would
like the City to be on track with the goals of IPCC. She stated she is pleased to be
a part of the community because there is so much environmental action in the City,
but this has to take precedence above water quality, above all of the other things
Page 1 of 10
