Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,January 28,2019 <br /> Page 20 <br /> Councilmember Etten asked if the City Council came back on February 11, what <br /> does that do for the timing. Would the City Council have time to come back and <br /> rezone or would there not be enough time for that before the final plat. <br /> Councilmember Willmus stated if Councilmember Etten is concerned with pro- <br /> tecting the density of this property, he would proceed forward with the motion on <br /> the floor and if a plat comes in tomorrow and everything looks good the City <br /> Council can always pull that motion for reconsideration at the next meeting. <br /> Councilmember Etten indicated his motion has not changed. <br /> Councilmember Willmus confirmed his second of the motion. <br /> Councilmember Groff stated he would have to disagree. He indicated he would <br /> have to go along with the City Manager's position to postpone this if there is not <br /> any risk rather than passing this and revisiting it after it has been passed, especial- <br /> ly with a Councilmember missing at the meeting. He wondered if it would be <br /> possible to table this item. <br /> Groff moved to table this item. The motion failed for a lack of a second. <br /> Mayor Roe indicated the previous motion is back for consideration. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, Groff and Roe. <br /> Nays: None <br /> Mr. Trudgeon stated the City would need to have an open house. He asked Mr. <br /> Paschke to review the process and timeline with the Council. <br /> Mr. Paschke stated there would be a minimum of two weeks before the open <br /> house in order to send out notices and then this would go to the March Planning <br /> Commission and City Council for the rezoning. He indicated if a plat comes in <br /> tomorrow, staff will let the Council know. <br /> g. Consider an Interim Use in Support of Outdoor Semi-Trailer Storage at 2720 <br /> Fairview Avenue (PF18-028) <br /> City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA <br /> and related attachments dated January 28, 2019. <br /> Councilmember Etten stated the picture that is in the packet is from January 2 and <br /> the new owner is out of compliance with several of the requirements. <br /> Mr. Paschke did not believe the site was currently laid out the way it was shown <br /> in the photo.
