City Council Update: <br />January: <br />o Swore in Mayor Dan Roe and Councilmembers Bob Willmus and (new) Wayne <br />Groff. <br />o Approved Public Works 2019 Work Plan. <br />o Adopted Water Supply Plan. <br />o Approved a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Lauderdale for <br />improvements to Roselawn Ave along the Lauderdale/Roseville border. <br />February: <br />o Received Snelling Ave Corridor Analysis and agreed to not accept federal <br />funding for the Snelling Ave third lane project. <br />o (Feb 25) Considered the vacation of a portion of a drainage and utility easement <br />located within Roseville Center (Larpenteur Ave between Fernwood St and <br />Lexington Ave) to accommodate additional building area within the center. <br />For more information on any of these items please reference the City Council Agenda on <br />the City's website. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Assisted Water Utilities with 6 water main breaks. <br />• Ongoing Compost site maintenance. <br />• Ongoing sign repairs. <br />• Ongoing miscellaneous tree trimming. <br />• Anti -icing and plow events. <br />• Due to the large volume of snow, crews have been benching back snow banks, hauling <br />snow and snow blowing to widen areas. <br />• Mailbox repairs. <br />• Repaired 9 broken water mains. <br />• Replaced all SCADA radios in lift stations and other facilities. <br />• Assisted the Street division plowing streets and cul-de-sacs. <br />• Collected water samples for bacteriological testing. <br />• Completed the installation of the exhaust system in latent fingerprint area. <br />• Continued replacing meter heads and radios. <br />• Continued working with architect and contractors on the Willow Room remodeling <br />proj ect. <br />• Continued working with engineers and contractors on the Booster Station project. <br />• Completed installation of the access control system in the maintenance facility. <br />• Submitted the Annual Ramsey County Hazardous Waste Report. <br />• Worked with HR to advertise latest maintenance worker opening in Utilities. <br />• Worked with other city staff reviewing asset management software. <br />Attachments: <br />A: 2019 Project Map <br />B: December Development Activity Report <br />C: Commercial Water Use Data <br />
