REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: 2/25/2019 <br /> Item No.: 7.b <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Approve Resolution approving the vacation of a portion of an easement <br />within Lot 1, Block 1, Roseville Center. <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 As part of a proposed redevelopment project at Roseville Center, located in the northwest <br />3 quadrant of Lexington Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue, the developer, Brixmor SPE 5 LLC, has <br />4 petitioned the City to vacate a portion of a utility and drainage easement to accommodate a new <br />5 building as part of a redevelopment project. The <br />6 vacation of the east 8 feet of the utility and drainage easement located within Lot 1, Block 1 <br />7 Roseville Center. The existing easement is in the previously vacated Dunlap Street and is 60 feet <br />8 in width. The City has a sanitary sewer main and a storm sewer pipe in the easement. With the <br />9 proposed vacation of the east 8 feet there is still adequate room to maintain the City <br />10 infrastructure an is shown in <br />11 Attachment D. <br />12 The vacation will be not be official until such time the City Manager executes and records a <br />13 Notice of Completion of this vacation.
