Attachment A EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 2 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 25 day of February, 2019, at 3 6:00 p.m. 4 5 The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: 6 7 8 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 9 10 RESOLUTION NO. 11 APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE EAST 8.00 FEET OF THE UTILITY AND 12 DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN LOT 1, BLOCK 1, ROSEVILLE 13 CENTER SECOND ADDITION 14 15 WHEREAS, in 1961 the City of Roseville vacated Dunlap Street but retained Utility and 16 drainage easements; and 17 18 WHEREAS, a petition from adjacent property owners has been filed with the City of Roseville 19 requesting the vacation of a portion said utility and drainage easement, which lie within the 20 following described real property: 21 22 The East 8.00 feet of the Utility and Drainage Easement located within Lot 1, 23 Block 1, Roseville Center Second Addition. 24 25 WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice have been given as well as notice 26 having been mailed to all affected property owners according to Minnesota Statutes, a public 27 hearing was held on February 25, 2019 at which all persons interested in said vacation were 28 given an opportunity to be heard; and 29 30 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that the vacation would be in the public 31 interest; 32 33 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 34 ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: 35 36 1. That the City of Roseville hereby vacates a portion of the utility and drainage easement, 37 which lies within the following described real property:
