Attachment A <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />2 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 25 day of February, 2019, at 6:00 <br />3 p.m. <br />4 <br />5 The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: <br />6 . <br />7 <br />8 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />9 <br />10 RESOLUTION NO. <br />11 <br />12 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON <br />13 OLD HIGHWAY EIGHT FROM TROSETH ROAD TO COUNTY ROAD D WEST <br />14 <br />15 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />16 WHEREAS, Old Highway 8 between Troseth Road and County Road D West is a Municipal <br />17 State Aid Highway; <br />18 AND WHEREAS, such roadway is proposed to be repaved using Municipal State Aid Highway <br />19 funds and the repaving of such roadway must conform to established Municipal State Aid <br />20 Highway standards; <br />21 AND WHEREAS, the current width and striped use of Old Highway 8 is not sufficient for on <br />22 street parking on the either side of the roadway according to State Aid standards; <br />23 AND WHEREAS, the west side of the road was previously designated no parking by resolution <br />24 in April of 2014; <br />25 AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the <br />26 governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet <br />27 standards for on street parking; <br />28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that <br />29 parking is hereby prohibited along both sides of the roadway of Old Highway 8 from Troseth <br />30 Road to County Road D West. <br />31 The motion was duly seconded by Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />32 voted in favor thereof: ; and and the following voted against: . <br />33 <br />34 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />
