Attachment A EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 2 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 25 day of February, 2019, at 6:00 3 p.m. 4 5 The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: 6 . 7 8 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 9 10 RESOLUTION NO. 11 12 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON 13 OLD HIGHWAY EIGHT FROM TROSETH ROAD TO COUNTY ROAD D WEST 14 15 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: 16 WHEREAS, Old Highway 8 between Troseth Road and County Road D West is a Municipal 17 State Aid Highway; 18 AND WHEREAS, such roadway is proposed to be repaved using Municipal State Aid Highway 19 funds and the repaving of such roadway must conform to established Municipal State Aid 20 Highway standards; 21 AND WHEREAS, the current width and striped use of Old Highway 8 is not sufficient for on 22 street parking on the either side of the roadway according to State Aid standards; 23 AND WHEREAS, the west side of the road was previously designated no parking by resolution 24 in April of 2014; 25 AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the 26 governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet 27 standards for on street parking; 28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that 29 parking is hereby prohibited along both sides of the roadway of Old Highway 8 from Troseth 30 Road to County Road D West. 31 The motion was duly seconded by Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following 32 voted in favor thereof: ; and and the following voted against: . 33 34 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
