She brings <br />15 years of communications, community relations, public policy and advocacy <br />experience to this effort. Before being named top aide to Saint Paul City Council <br />Home Society where she led fundraising events, social media marketing, and state advocacy efforts for the agency <br />and coalition partners. She also has experience in account management and marketing as Account Executive for <br />Institute of Public Affairs and undergraduate degrees with honors in Sociology and Communications from the <br />University of Colorado. In her role at the Chamber, she is responsible for galvanizing <br />business support for regional economic development priorities, including land <br />development, workforce, small and diverse business participation and equity and <br />helping businesses grow by leveraging regional resources for retention and expansion. <br />Channon brings unique perspective from cities throughout the U.S. having served in <br />numerous leadership roles in industry and the public and non-profit sectors. <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
