Convene and Closed Session <br /> Mayor Roe read a statement summarizing the intent of the closed session, and announced <br /> that, in accordance with Minnesota State Statutes Chapter 13.D.05, subd. 3(b) and excep- <br /> tions to Open Meeting Laws, he would entertain a motion to move into Closed Executive <br /> Session with the City Attorney and City Manager to discuss the City Manager Perfor- <br /> mance Review. <br /> Mayor Roe stated the City Manager does have the option to request that the meeting be <br /> conducted as an open meeting. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon stated he would prefer a Closed Session. <br /> Etten moved, Laliberte seconded, recessing the City Council meeting at approximately <br /> 7:46 p.m. and convening in Closed Executive Session, per State Statute. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Mayor Roe convened the city council in closed session at approximately 7:50 PM for the <br /> purpose of evaluating the City Manager's performance. In addition to the members of the <br /> city council, City Attorney Mark Gaughan and City Manager Pat Trudgeon were present. <br /> 13. Reconvene Open Session <br /> At approximately 9:13 p.m., Etten moved, Laliberte seconded, adjourning the Closed Ex- <br /> ecutive Session and reconvening the Open Session. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 14.
