Regular City Council Meeting Monday, April 15, 2019 Page 13 Mayor Roe did not think the Council wanted to expand this beyond the area of Twin Lakes. Councilmember Etten asked if the report is put towards a property to show the site is cleaned up. Ms. Gundlach stated it was. She stated no building permits are issued until City Staff is sure the contamination is cleaned up and the site is clean. Mayor Roe thought the Council would like to stick with keeping this in the Twin Lakes area and something simple and bring back the Resolution to rescind the ERW process. Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment, with no one coming for- ward. Councilmember Willmus stated the second part of this item is in regard to Colder Products. He stated he was fine with stepping away from this because of the fact that the City is getting rid of the requirement. The Council agreed. e. Make Appointments to Fill Vacancies on Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission Assistant City Manager Rebecca Olson briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA and related attachments dated April 15, 2019. Etten moved, Groff seconded, to appoint Ms. Huiett to the Public Works, Envi- ronment and Transportation Commission with a term ending March 31, 2021. Council Discussion Councilmember Etten thought Ms. Huiett did a good interview and was disap- pointed that she was not appointed the first time. Councilmember Laliberte asked what the Council wanted to do with the other va- cancy. Councilmember Willmus stated he would like to go back and look at the applica- tion and interview before the Council does appoint anyone and possibly bring back a second individual as well in order to fill both openings at the same time. Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, to table this item for further review. Roll Call
