This system is estimated to produce approximately 56% of the <br />energy needed by the Maintenance Building. <br />• Organics Drop off Site <br />o On July 17, Council approved an agreement with Ramsey County to construct an <br />organics drop off site at the city's leaf site off of Dale St. <br />City Council Update: <br />• June <br />Held a discussion on State Fair Parking. Additional parking restrictions <br />will be implemented this year to try to address some of the impacts <br />residents experience around the Park and Ride facilities due to on street <br />parking. A map of the proposed no parking areas is included as <br />Attachment C. There may be some minor revisions to this map before the <br />State Fair begins. <br />• Approved Assignment of Easement at 2814 Cleveland Avenue to Ramsey <br />County related to the Colder Products Company site development. <br />• Approved Resolution Authorizing Revocation and Designation of <br />Municipal State Aid Roads <br />For more information on any of these items please reference the City Council Agenda on <br />the City's website. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />o Started second street sweeping <br />o Streetscape areas planted Lexington to Snelling, <br />o Stared third mowing. <br />o Re painting message pavement markings, almost completed <br />o Repairing failed catch basins with ring deterioration and settlement. <br />o Ongoing mill and patching of delamination streets. Severe damage from winter <br />freeze thaw cycles. <br />o Ongoing compost turning <br />o Continuing Friday deliveries of compost. <br />o Ongoing sign repair and installs. <br />o Some tree trimming. Seeing more EAB trees branches falling. <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />o Continued collecting sanitary sewer flow data every other Friday <br />o Completed flushing and inspecting public hydrants <br />o Continued the 2019 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning program <br />o Repaired three broken water mains <br />o Collected water samples for bacteriological testing <br />o Continued replacing meter heads and radios <br />o Continued working with engineers and contractors on the Booster Station Phase 2 <br />project. Started new pump 6 on May 22 and have been running on that pump <br />since <br />o Worked with solar company shutting down the Maintenance Facility to make <br />their connection to Xcel Energy's electrical system <br />o Completed replacement of a rooftop HVAC unit on the Maintenance Facility <br />o Completed washing windows in City Hall, Police and Maintenance Facility <br />o Started the painting project inside City Hall <br />
