Village Council of Roseville Regular Meeting,Tuesday,December 6th,1949 91 ----------------------------------------- The Village Council ßet on the above date with the following members present: Mueller, Haromersten, Membrez. pothen,Carlson were absent. Because of the Village Annual Election held on this dqy,Hammersten moved, Mueller seconded that this meeting be continued on ThurFday,December 8th at &~'clock P.M.Roll Call:.Ayes-(3),Nays-(O). -~ ( /i/;).X(~· ~>'" /1 f/ , . /~ '{, . /l>l.r{·<~.~:.>", ;v! ,.- Mayor ~ '. ~ ,- , Clerk Village Council of Roseville Continuation of meeting of Dec.6th,19h9 Thursàày,recember 8th,1949 ----------------------------------- The Village Council met on the above date as a continuation of the regular meeting of Dec.6th,with the following members present:Mueller,H~~ersten, Carlson,Membrez (4) pothen was absent (1) Frank Leinen,Treasurer and Ira Karon attorney were also present. The Clerk read the minutes of November 15th, and on motion by Mueller,sec. by Carlson, they were approved as read.Roll Call:Ayes-(4),Nays-)Q) George Sauer, contractor and John Bouthilet his attorney appeared and submitted some tentative plans for the cOnSruetion of several apt.bui1ings on property located East of Hamline Ave and South of Roma Ave. It appears that the F.H.A. made a request to ~hange some streets on record in the plat called "Gottfried #2" and eventho more preliminary work and study has to be made on this project, they were anxious to know if the Council ,viII be willing to vacate the streets in question in order to conform with F.R.A.recommendations. The members of the Council indicated that full cooperation will be given when the matter is presented in it's final form. Mr. & Mrs Schmitz appeared again about some regulations for dogs in the Village. Mayor Mueller promised that some investigation will be made and that the matter will be considered at a later date. Mrs Zimmerman requested that some action be taken pertaining to the grading of st Mary's Lane in Midoaks Lane Addition. Membrez moved, seconded by Mueller to instruct the rQQd overseer to grade st Mary's Lane as far as dirt on the property will allow and that the cost should not exceed $300.00 with the understan- ding that Mrs.Zinunerman win pay half the cost.Roll Call:Ayes-(4),Nays-(0). A request by property owners to take over the maintenance of lona tane,East of Dale was read by the Clerk.Hammersten moved, seconded by Mueller that the Village accept the road for maintenance on the condition that the property owners remove the stonesfum the street in the spring of 1950.Roll Call:Ayes-(4),Nays-(0). Mueller moved, seconded by Carlson that upon a canvass of the votes at the annual election of the Village on Tuesday Dec.6th,the results shown upon the tally sheet are correct and the perRons therein named receiving the largest number of votes are elected to the offices therein designated.Roll Call:Ayes-(4),Nays-(0).
