Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,July 8, 2019 <br /> Page 17 <br /> March 31, 2021, to set a deadline of August 12 for applications, and direct staff to <br /> advertise for applications to service on the commission. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None <br /> g. Consider Approval of 2019-20 Policy Priority Planning Document <br /> City Manager Trudgeon briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA and <br /> related attachments dated July 8, 2019. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon started discussion with the Council on the first header page. <br /> Mayor Roe thought under Housing, the last category of availability seems a little <br /> redundant with the Housing is Available and not as critical to list there as the oth- <br /> ers. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte suggested it read "Housing to meet all identified <br /> needs,"then availability could be left in the parenthesis. <br /> Mayor Roe suggested "Housing in Roseville meets all identified needs." He <br /> thought in concept, if the Council preferred taking out availability on the list or <br /> taking it out before the list. <br /> Councilmember Etten indicated he would take it out at the beginning of the sen- <br /> tence. <br /> The Council agreed. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte thought the only other item on the page is to figure out <br /> who determines and how it is achieved. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte had a question about something that is not on the head- <br /> er sheet but did get discussed earlier in the meeting, the Transportation Priorities <br /> and working with other entities, and wondered if that should be included. <br /> Mayor Roe asked if there was a way to put that in the Capital Improvements item <br /> and change that from Capital Improvements to more broadly Public Improve- <br /> ments and add Transit needs. <br /> The Council agreed. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon reviewed the first Strategic Priority, "Economic Development", <br /> with the Council. He noted the addition of Map market value growth and decline <br /> by parcel to the 3rd Quarter, 2019 timeline. He noted starting the 4th Quarter 2019 <br />
