Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meeting minutes of June 4, 2019. 4.Human Rights, Inclusion and EngagementCommission Event Communications On July 24, 2019, the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC) made aprogramproposal to the City Council to celebrate and bring awareness to Hispanic Heritage Month between September 15 and October 15, 2019. More detailed background information about their proposal is in your packet. Representatives from the HRIEC will be at your meeting to sharethe information and gather your feedback. Requested Commission Action: Hear proposal, discuss and provide feedback. 5.Park Dedication Review and Recommendation a.Rosedale Center Seventh Addition – Macy’s Out Lot Included in your packet is a proposal for a subdivision at Rosedale Mall on the Macy’s property. The proposal is to split off and create two new lots. One being .86 acre and one at 1.61 acre for a total acreage of 2.47. The project qualifies for Park Dedication. The cash amount would be $198,732 (10% of the FMV).The land amount would be 5% of 2.47 acres or .12 acre. Please note the error in the amount on the letter of 5% of FMV. The cash amount is actually 10% of FMV, which has been communicated to the developer. This area is located in constellation I. Included in your packet for guidance is a constellation map, copy of the Park Dedication Ordinance and documents from the Parks and Recreation System MasterPlan on Parks and Open Space acquisition. The Parks and Recreation System Master Plan does not identify specific property in this area for acquisition. 2
