<br /> <br />Funding Plan: <br />Funding for this project was not identified in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) nor in the annual Operating <br />Budget. There was enthusiasm amongst many to assist with the development and ongoing maintenance. Grace <br />Church, a key financial partner, also has adopted the park to help with ongoing maintenance. <br />The approved funding plan was arrived at through a collaboration by the City Council, Parks and Recreation <br />Commission, City Administration, Community Development, Public Works and the Finance Department. <br /> <br />Funding for this $250,000 project came together using a variety of funding sources requiring limited tax support. <br /> <br />The purchase price for the property was $68,000 with funds from a Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) from Ramsey County. <br /> <br />Ramsey County, Kiwanis Club, Grace Church of Roseville, Friends of Roseville Parks (FORPARKS) and the <br />City of Roseville were the key financial partners for funding and a volunteer workforce. <br /> <br />The following was the funding plan (expenses and unique revenue sources) for the park design, development and <br />construction: <br />Expenses: <br />Design, development and Construction Costs of Base Plan $230,000 <br /> Site work <br /> Trails/pathway <br /> Play equipment/experiences <br /> Landscaping/signage/amenities <br />Final Detail Design $ 20,000 <br />Total Expenses $250,000 <br />Revenues: <br />Grace Church of Roseville – Pledge $ 75,000 <br />Friends of Roseville Parks (FORPARKS) $ 25,000 <br />North Suburban Evening Kiwanis Club - Pledge $ 20,000 <br />Remaining Grant Funds (benches were purchase-12/31/17) $ 17,380 <br />Sub-Total – Outside Funds $137,380 <br />Renewal Program Trails Funding $ 10,000 <br />Remaining Planning and Design Budget $ 17,780 <br />Park Dedication $ 84,840 <br />Subtotal – City Funds $112,620 <br />Total Revenues $250,000 <br />14 <br /> <br />
