119 The Commission reviewed the discussion with the City Council on third party vendors at the <br />120 Cedarholm Community Building. Chair Baggenstoss relayed that he would be willing to find <br />121 out additional information on local food service operators in the area. <br />122 <br />123 Commissioner O’Brien commented that better marketing may help non-golfers be aware of <br />124 the grill option at Cedarholm Community Building. Marketing ideas could include updating <br />125 the city website, a newsletter article or marketing outside of Cedarholm. <br />126 <br />127 Commissioner Arneson suggested the addition of a small sandwich board out front with <br />128 potential wording being “Cedarholm Grill Now Open” and including the hours. <br />129 <br />130 The Commission discussed options for marketing, hours for the grill and potential conflicts <br />131 with rentals. <br />132 <br />133 Commissioners Baggenstoss, Hoag, Brown and Stoner (surveys) agreed to be part of a sub- <br />134 committee to look at potential options for third party vendors at the Cedarholm Community <br />135 Building. <br />136 <br />137 Staff suggested that the September agenda include the deer reduction effort, accelerated <br />138 Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) program and the Cedarholm Community Building food service. <br />139 The Commission agreed. <br />140 <br />141 7) STAFF REPORT <br />142 a) OTHER NEW OR RELEVANT COMMUNICATION ITEMS <br />143 Staff showed an example of the green EAB tree wraps that are on some boulevard <br />144 and park ash trees.
