This project is essentially complete. The overlay of the trail should occur the last <br />week of September. All erosion control measures will be removed once turf is <br />established. <br />Ramsey County: <br />• County Road C Reconstruction: Hwy 88 to Long Lake Road <br />o The County will be reconstructing County Road C between Highway 88 in St. <br />Anthony and Long Lake Road in Roseville in 2019. <br />o Work is underway with traffic down to one lane in each direction. <br />o Concrete paving for east bound lanes is anticipated for early October. <br />• County Road C Concrete Rehabilitation: Cleveland Ave to Snelling Ave <br />o Work includes concrete maintenance on County C between Cleveland Avenue <br />and Snelling Avenue. Work includes ADA upgrades and concrete joint repairs. <br />o Major work should be complied by September 25. W <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation updates: <br />• I-35WMnPASSproject-httn://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/vroiects/i35wroseville/ <br />o Construct MnPASS Express Lanes (one lane in each direction) in the middle of <br />existing I-35W between County Road C in Roseville and Lexington Avenue <br />(County Rd 17) in Blaine. <br />o Repave I-35 W and ramps between County Road C in Roseville to just north of <br />Sunset Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. <br />o Replace and repair bridges along the project area. <br />o Install noise walls on the east side of I-35 W just north of the County Road C <br />ramps to County Road D. <br />o Contract was awarded in October to Ames Construction which had the winning <br />Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. <br />o Major roadwork is underway. <br />• The southbound TH 51 (Snelling Avenue) turn lane to southbound <br />Hamline will be closed for the remainder of the project. <br />• All traffic is shifted to the northbound lanes with two through lanes in <br />each direction. <br />• The on ramps from County Road C to southbound 35W will be closed <br />until November. <br />• The south bound exit ramp at County Road C will be closed beginning <br />September 24 through October 23. <br />• Rosegate Avenue will be closed through November. <br />Miscellaneous Updates: <br />MnDOT and Minnesota Commercial Railway will be installing railroad crossing gates at <br />the County Road C2 railroad crossing just west of Long Lake Road in early October. <br />Organics Drop off Site <br />o The new organics drop site is completed and open for public use. <br />State Fair Parking <br />o The City installed over 450 no parking signs along City streets to control on street <br />parking around park and ride lots during the Minnesota State Fair. The City did <br />receive some comments and made some changes to the original posted streets but <br />overall we received far fewer complaints this year than years past. The Police <br />logged 56 incidents of either a written warning, written citation or response to a <br />parking complaint. Overall, staff feels the new parking restrictions were <br />extremely successful and we will plan to do this going forward. <br />Youth Members: Solicitation for Youth Members for various City Commissions, <br />including PWET Commission, will end at the end of September. Currently there is one <br />applicant who has expressed interest in the PWET Commission. It is recommended that <br />
