Roseville Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission Agenda Item Date: October 22, 2019 Item No: 4 Item Description: Communication Items Public Works Project updates: • Water Booster Station Phase 2 o The contract for this project was awarded on July 23, 2018. o Work includes: HVAC upgrades, electrical upgrades including creation of an electrical room, security upgrades, replacement of two pumps and replacement of some underground piping and valves. o All major work is completed other than some minor cleanup. Fernwood Lift Station o The project includes the upgrade of the lift station. The project was awarded to Minger Construction, Inc on July 8. Work on the lift station will begin in Spring of 2020 2019 Pavement Management Project o This year's pavement management project consists of approximately 8.5 miles of mill and overlay. o The only major work remaining is at Lincoln/County Road C2. This work is scheduled to be completed by October 25. o The project is about 95% completed. See Attachment B for areas completed. • City Hall Parking Lot o The project consists of reconstructing the parking lot between City Hall and the Maintenance Facility. Work involves the realignment of the access to Civic Center Drive, related storm sewer work, achieving ADA compliance, and replacement of water and sewer mains under the parking lot. o All utilities and concrete work are completed. o Final paving is scheduled for Wednesday October 23. The full parking lot should be able to be opened up be early the week of October 28. Ramsey County Library Entrance Modification o Work on the project began October 14. Work is scheduled to be completed November 1. Metropolitan Council Environmental Services updates: • Upper Villa Area o All work on the project is completed. Ramsey County: • County Road C Reconstruction: Hwy 88 to Long Lake Road o The County will be reconstructing County Road C between Highway 88 in St. Anthony and Long Lake Road in Roseville in 2019. Work is underway with traffic down to one lane in each direction.
