o Long Lake Road is closed just south of County Road C and will remain closed through the end of October. o Concrete paving is ongoing. County Road C Concrete Rehabilitation: Cleveland Ave to Snelling Ave o All work is completed. Minnesota Department of Transportation updates: • I-35W MnPASS project - httn://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/proiects/i35wroseville/ o Construct MnPASS Express Lanes (one lane in each direction) in the middle of existing I-35 W between County Road C in Roseville and Lexington Avenue (County Rd 17) in Blaine. o Repave I-35W and ramps between County Road C in Roseville to just north of Sunset Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. o Replace and repair bridges along the project area o Install noise walls on the east side of I-35W just north of the County Road C ramps to County Road D. o Contract was awarded in October to Ames Construction which had the winning Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. o Major roadwork is underway. • The southbound TH 51 (Snelling Avenue) turn lane to southbound Hamline will be closed for the remainder of the project. • All traffic is shifted to the northbound lanes with two through lanes in each direction. • On October 15 the exit ramp to County Road D from 35 W will close for 30 days. • On October 23 the entrance for County Road D to 35 W will close for 30 days. • Rosegate Avenue will be closed through November. Miscellaneous Updates: • MnDOT and Minnesota Commercial Railway will be installing railroad crossing gates at the County Road C2 railroad crossing just west of Long Lake Road in the next week. • Organics Drop off Site The new organics drop site is completed and open for public use. City Council Update: • The City Council recently authorized staff to release a request for proposals for a Civic Campus Master Plan. It is anticipated that a professional services agreement will be entered into with the selected firm at the December 2°d City Council meeting or in early January. Major Maintenance Activities: • Street and Storm o Patched 2nd water break at 2996 Cleveland. Street Maintenance did traffic control setup, large cleanup operation, re dug, compacted and patched. o Prepping plow equipment for winter operations. Plow wing on salt sanders calibrated. o Ongoing Streetscape maintenance. Irrigation systems blown out. o Ongoing tree response to dead, broken, and limbs down from wind events. o Completed 6th mow. o Ongoing Street pavement repairs. Mill and patch and spray injection patching.
