Attachment A <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />2 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 7th day of October, <br />3 2019, at6:00 p.m. <br />4 <br />5 The following members were present: and the following members were <br />6 absent: . <br />7 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />8 <br />9 RESOLUTION No. <br />10 <br />11 APPROVAL OF GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN METROPOLITAN <br />12 COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE FOR GRANT ELIGIBLE WORK <br />13 <br />14 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />15 <br />16 WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Legislature has appropriated $8,737,000 in general <br />17 obligation bond funds for grants to municipalities to reduce inflow and infiltration in their <br />18 public system infrastructure, administered by Metropolitan Council Environmental <br />19 Services (MCES); and <br />20 <br />21 WHEREAS, application to participate in the MCES 2017 Municipal Grant Program was <br />22 made on August 24, 2017, for reimbursement of the construction costs of various sanitary <br />23 sewer system projects; and <br />24 <br />25 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to enter into a Grant agreement to finalize the <br />26 reimbursement process. <br />27 <br />28 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />29 ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, the Grant Agreement for the MCES 2017 Municipal Inflow <br />30 and Infiltration grant is approved; and <br />31 <br />32 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Public Works Directoris hereby authorized to <br />33 execute the Grant Agreement, subject to minor modifications approved by the City <br />34 Attorney. <br />35 <br />36 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />37 Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />38 and the following voted against the same: . <br />39 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />
