6. Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Proposal Scope of Work Discussion <br />Following up to the discussion in item #5 above, it appeared as though there was a <br />consensus that we should be begin to prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) on an <br />Emerald Ash Borer Program. <br /> <br />To keep the discussion going, included in your packet is a draft scope of work based <br />on previous discussions. If the city agrees on a scope of work and financial <br />arrangement, an RFP could be released to vendors in order to get a firm idea on <br />interest, approaches and costs for such a program. <br /> <br />Please plan to review and suggest as this is in a development stage. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discussion and provide input. <br /> <br />7. 2020 Draft Meeting Calendar <br />Enclosed is a draft 2020 meeting calendar for your review and discussion. <br /> <br />st <br />Please note the following diversions from your typical 1 Tuesday of the month: <br /> <br />1) Due to the Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 3, your March meeting <br />has been identified on the calendar as Thursday, March 5. <br />2) Due to Night to Unite on Tuesday, August 4, your August meeting has been <br />identified on the calendar as Thursday, August 6. <br /> <br />3) Due to the Election on Tuesday, November 3, your November meeting has <br />been identified on the calendar as Thursday, November 5. <br /> <br />4) In June of each year, you hold a joint meeting with the City Council on their <br />typical Monday meeting day. <br /> <br />Please double check your calendars and be prepared to discuss. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discuss and consider confirming the 2020 annual <br />meeting calendar <br /> <br />8.
